CHEF EDUCATORS (PART TIME)

 

Do you love to cook? Do you love to teach? Do you love children? Do you value the importance of building community around the joy of cooking and sharing meals? If yes, I am excited to connect with you. 
 

Fiddleheads is seeking Chef-Instructors interested in teaching in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Classes are typically held weekdays between 2:30-7:00 pm in schools or in our kitchen studio spaces (Chappaqua Community Center or Crawford Mansion in Rye Brook, Pound Ridge, Bedford or Harrison).  The ideal candidates will need to be available at least 2 Sundays or Saturdays per month to lead birthday parties. A strong culinary background as well as cooking instruction experience and at least one year experience working with children required. Candidates should be comfortable working in different settings, carrying heavy items, and be able to problem solve. You must be responsible, reliable, professional and have excellent communication skills.

SUMMER ASSISTANTS (SEASONAL)

​

Fiddleheads is seeking Summer Assistants for our programs at the Chappaqua Community Center and Crawford Mansion in Rye Brook. 

Programs run June 27- August 2, 2024 8:00-2:00, daily. Two week commitment minimum.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids of all ages, and has culinary experience. Gardening and art experience is a plus.
