Fiddleheads Cooking Studio was established in April, 2016 born from a love of learning and gathering around real food and over 10 years of cooking classes for children. The vision is to educate children and their families about the power of food and the connection to its roots and sources. Fiddlehead works with many communities, public libraries, schools, farmers markets and community centers. Fiddleheads is growing in exciting new ways and we are looking for talented individuals to join as we expand in Westchester county and beyond.
CHEF EDUCATORS (PART TIME)

Fiddleheads is seeking Chef-Instructors interested in teaching in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Classes are typically held weekdays between 2:30-7:00 pm in schools or in our kitchen studio spaces (Chappaqua Community Center or Crawford Mansion in Rye Brook, Pound Ridge, Bedford or Harrison). The ideal candidates will need to be available at least 2 Sundays or Saturdays per month to lead birthday parties. A strong culinary background as well as cooking instruction experience and at least one year experience working with children required. Candidates should be comfortable working in different settings, carrying heavy items, and be able to problem solve. You must be responsible, reliable, professional and have excellent communication skills.
