1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 bag chocolate chips (or the equivalent weight in chunks)
1 cup mini marshmallows
optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts, 1/2 cup rice crisps, 1/2 cup shredded (unsweetened) coconut
In a saucepan over very low heat melt the chocolate and peanut butter. After both have completely melted, remove from heat and add marshmallows, and other items if using.
Line a 9x9 or 8x8 class dish with parchment paper. Pour mixture into dish and smooth the top. Place dish in freezer until the mixture hardens, but not frozen. remove from freezer and pull the parchment paper out of dish. Place on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, cut into small squares. Place squares into airtight container or ziplock bag and put back into the freezer.
