Creamy Chocolate Date Mousse 

Adapted from 


• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or morsels 

• 10 Medjool dates, pitted 

• 1 cup light coconut milk 

• 1/4 cup water 

• 1 ripe avocado 

• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 


1. Melt the chocolate and set aside. 

2. Remove pit from dates, if necessary, and chop into small pieces. 

3. Add chopped dates, coconut milk, and water into a food processor or blender, and  blend until smooth. Some small pieces of dates is okay.  

4. Peel and pit the avocado. Add to the food processor along with melted chocolate chips,  and cocoa powder. Blend again until creamy. 

5. Transfer into a small bowl or container. Chill in the fridge for at least 1-3 hours (or even  overnight). 

6. Enjoy with powdered sugar or fruit!
